Called the surgery at 4:55 had a call back from the duty doctor a few minutes later and got an emergency appointment 15minutes later. Fast and excellent service saved me going to A&E for an injured finger. A perfect example of when the NHS works as intended. Very happy with my experience

Dear Sir/Madam. I did my blood test on Monday the 25/11/2019. I was told to call back on Wednesday the 27 for the result. When I call back on Thursday, I was told no need to call back, the G.P. will do that if there is somethink wrong with the result, a bit of mixed information. Up to now I dont know my blood test result. Appart from this all was very good. Best Regards M.S. Khaloufi

Depending on Urgency of each case, I think the service provided by this stretched NHS GP Practice is excellent.

I have been registered with this surgery from its birth and migration. My experience has alwats be pleasant and welcoming. However, l don't think it's hygienic for the nurse to do an injection without wearing gloves. Her fingers and hand toucged the door handle, computer keyboard, making up the injection and then inserting the fluid into my arm. All the nurses where l work wear gloves it's standard. If they could get a pair of gloves on that would be great!

Response from Paddington Green Health Centre

Dear patient, Thank you for your feedback. Whilst we are always happy to reflect and review our practice it may be helpful here to note the following advice from the Royal College of Nursing: Wearing gloves: The WHO guidance advises that gloves should not be worn for routine intradermal, subcutaneous or intramuscular injections providing the health worker’s skin is intact as gloves do not provide protection against needle stick injury. Best wishes, PGHC
